Our Community in Action
A living record of the gatherings, cleanups, partnerships, and moments that make Chelsea feel like home.
We invited neighbors to donate plant clippings to each other and gave away hundreds of daffodil bulbs. Neighbors came out in the rain to swap plants and pick up bulbs!
Chelsea Love Collective teamed up with Friends of Chelsea Green to host tables at The Longest Table. We met some great neighbors and had a chance to speak with elected officials.
Chelsea Love Collective teamed up with B&H Photo for a special Photo Walk - "Seeing the Beauty Around Us". We met at B&H and then strolled the High Line for photo opportunities, guided by a B&H pro.
We teamed up with the Gateway Development Commission Community Engagement Center in Chelsea to give neighbors a behind the scenes look and update on the Hudson Tunnel project. After learning more about the larger project, we walked the High Line to the build site at Hudson Yards.
